 Joe Biden said the decision to ban oil, gas and energy imports from Russia would cost Americans dearly, and that a ban on Russian oil would increase the price of petroleum products. 

 Decided to impose sanctions, decided after consultations with allies, will continue to increase pressure on the Russian president.

 Earlier, Russian Vice President Alexander Novak said that if Russia's oil was rejected, it would have catastrophic consequences and the price of oil would reach 300 300 a barrel.  If oil exports are banned, the main gas pipeline to Germany could be shut down in response.

 It is to be noted that at present the oil prices in the world market are at the highest level since 2008.

 According to JPMorgan, the price of oil could reach 185 185 a barrel this year, while according to FJ, it could reach 180 and create a global crisis.

 According to the British news agency Reuters, there has been little progress in the talks since Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
